WKU has over 350 registered student organizations (RSOs), ranging, from Departmental, Campus Ministries, Greek, General, Honors, Intramural/Recreation, Professional, Service, and Student Representative.

WKU offers more than 30 fraternities and sororities, giving unique opportunities to become the best version of yourself while being surrounded with brothers or sisters who may become your lifelong friends.

WKU's culture promotes social responsibility and civic involvement. Students volunteer frequently in Bowling Green, Warren County, and the surrounding areas, and many of our departments sponsor programs that benefit the community.
Student Employment
The Student Employment Program at Western Kentucky University provides employment opportunities for students who are in need of part-time employment as they pursue a course of study at the University.
EXPAND YOUR EXPERIENCE

The Cynthia and George Nichols III Intercultural Student Engagement Center (I.S.E.C.) promotes a culturally inclusive campus environment, cultural awareness and competence, inter-group dialogue, engagement and intercultural interaction, and supports lifelong learning about self and others.

WKU hosts a vibrant community of international students and scholars from more than 65 countries to whom International Student Admissions and Services provide specialized support services including admissions processing, immigration advising and guidance, programs and events, cultural adjustment, resources and so much more.

The Office of Study Abroad and Global Learning (SAGL) serves the WKU community by engaging students, faculty, and staff in diverse, educational, and cultural experiences through faculty-led, exchange, consortia, and other study abroad opportunities.
Chinese Flagship
The Chinese Flagship program is designed to bring talented students who start with no knowledge of Chinese up to Superior levels of proficiency by the time they graduate from college.
Study Abroad & Global Learning
The Office of Study Abroad and Global Learning serves the WKU community by engaging students, faculty, and staff in diverse, educational, and cultural experiences through faculty-led, exchange, consortia, and other study abroad opportunities. Additionally, WKU has students in more than 40 countries around the world through partnerships with the Cooperative Center for Study Abroad and the Kentucky Institute for International Studies.
Office of International Programs
The Office of International Programs serves to enhance WKU's international profile by working closely with students, faculty, and staff, both domestic and foreign. The office also coordinates the International Year Of... program, intended to provide the WKU campus and surrounding community with a rich, complex sense of place and interconnectedness through a year-long celebration and emphasis on a single region/country.
Global Education Partnerships
WKU is proud to have strong global education partnerships. ESLI is focused on preparing students from non-English speaking countries to successfully enter and study at North American universities.
Health & Wellness at WKU

At Med Center Health, physicians and nurse practitioners provide on-campus healthcare
services for WKU students, faculty, staff and community.

The Dental Hygiene Program operates a clinic in which its students treat patients under the supervision of dental hygiene faculty members.

WellU® is an online student wellness program designed to promote health and wellness related programs and services available at WKU.
